Every seat is held by someone we’ve checked.
Before anyone can request a seat on an Etravoy trip, a person on our team matches their government ID to a selfie taken at sign-up. No exceptions for repeat travellers, friends of the team or trip leads.
What we check
Verification confirms identity. It doesn’t judge anyone, and we never share it with other travellers.
Your ID is real and yours
We accept a passport, Aadhaar, driving licence or national ID card. The name and date of birth must match your profile.
Your face matches the ID
You take a selfie while signing up. We compare it with the photo on your document by hand, not only by software.
You fit the trip’s rules
Age bands, women-only seats and balanced ratios are applied using your verified details, so the group is what the listing says it is.
What happens to your documents
Files are stored outside our public servers and opened only by the verification team. Ask us at privacy@etravoy.com to delete them once you’re verified.
- Other travellers see your first name, city and that you’re verified. Nothing else.
- Trip leads see your emergency contact only for trips you’re on.
- We never use your ID photo for marketing or share it with partners.
